New Look Roster
Cornerstone returns seven players from their inaugural season in 2021 and have added 13 new players to the roster in 2022 as the team looks to take strides in the right direction with more depth and experience. Of the 13 new faces 11 of those are freshmen. The freshmen class is highlighted by the international talent of Brunno Peres, Hubert Sliwinski, and Patrick Voloch. Peres and Voloch come to CU from different cities in Brazil, while Sliwinski comes from Poland as a 6-4 middle hitter.

Returning Leaders
After a tough two-win season in the program's first year, Cornerstone is excited to bring back some talent that now has a year of collegiate volleyball under their belt. Last year's block leader Jacob Brinks returns as a graduate student, and Alex Hekman the teams libero who recorded 128 digs also returns. Last year's kill leader in Cade Meza returns for his sophomore campaign as well, and fellow sophomore and last year's setter Max Hernandez is back after recorded a team high 470 assists, and team second best 127 digs.

This Week's Opponents
Cornerstone has only seen one of this week's four opponents before as they played Judson twice last year. The team fell in four sets in the first meeting and three in the second. The Golden Eagles first opponent of the week is Olivet Nazarene who is starting their program this year. Adrian and Cumberland are two teams that have been in existence for many years and historically have been .500 programs.
