GRANDVILLE, Mich. – The men's and women's bowling teams held their first home event of the season that saw success coming out of both sides. The men were able to finish 10th as the women placed 5th in their divisions. Hunter Haldaman bowled a game best 266 on the day to give himself a 7th place finish as Lauren Slagter also finished 7th as an individual for the women's side. Bowling's next event will take place at the AHBA Invite on October 29th. 

Men's Results:
Hunter Haldaman continues his great play to start his season as he placed 7th as an individual with a total score of 1039 with a game high 266 in game five. Nicholas Slagter also had a good day today as he placed 17th individually with a combined score of 944.

Overall, the men finished 10th on the day with a team score of 6209 as Spring Arbor University was the team to beat as they finished in first place with a team score of 7545.

Women's Results: 
Lauren Slagter had herself a day as she was able to place 7th as an individual with a combined score of 905 with a game high 196 in game one. Nicole will placed 21st as an individual posting a score of 851.

Overall, the women finished 5th with a team score of 6097 as Spring Arbor University women's team was also the team to beat as they finished in first with a team score of 6660.

What's Next?
Bowling will be back in action on October 29 at the AHBA Invite at the Super Bowl
