Elayna Cady,
Elizabeth Kollen, and
Skylar Scholten each scored their first this last week. 13 goal scorers match the mark CU put up in 2019 when the team tallied 44 total goals in the season. Cornerstone this season has 13 goal scorers on 20 total goals, as multiple Golden Eagle players have seen action in 2022.
Jozlyn VanTol Goal Leader
Senior
Jozlyn VanTol has taken over the goal lead with four after scoring one of the three goals against Cleary this last weekend. VanTol needs two more goals to tie her single season record of six during her freshman year.
Around the WHAC
Cornerstone is currently sitting in ninth in the WHAC as the lone team with a 1-2 conference record. Only three teams remain unbeaten in WHAC play with Aquinas at 3-0. Siena Heights and UNOH are each 2-0-1, while Rochester and Madonna are right behind at 2-1. The matchup with Indiana Tech is a big one for the Golden Eagles as the Warriors sit one point ahead of them at 1-1-1 in conference play.
Scouting UM-Dearborn
The Wolverines have struggled in 2022 going 1-4-1 on the year. After winning and tying their first two games, UM-Dearborn has lost four straight. UM-D has had six goal scorers on their seven goals with Emmi Pinkowski as the only player to score two. The keeper position has been a revolving door for the Wolverines with three players getting time while allowing 11 goals total.
Scouting Indiana Tech
