WHAC Tournament
After a tie in their last game of the season to Concordia, it made a four-way tie within the WHAC that had Cornerstone winning the tiebreaker with the other three teams. The Golden Eagles are back in the tournament after missing out on it last year for the first time 2016. The remaining schedule for the tournament is the semifinal is on Saturday, November 5 and the championship being on November 12.
#15 Aquinas
Aquinas is coming into the first-round matchup against Cornerstone riding a 12-game win streak that has them sitting #15 in the nation at 15-2-1 (11-0) on the season. Aquinas has shutout their opponents in eight of their last nine games and the early matchup against Cornerstone saw it end in a 4-0 Aquinas victory. Hannah Crum has 12 goals on the season which leads the way for the Saints with Sydney Shenk right behind her with eight.
