GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - A pair of newcomers highlighted the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) 2022 postseason awards, as Hailey Stowe earned Second Team honors and Ainsley Harris was named to the All-Newcomer Team. Other honorees include Skylar Scholten earning WHAC All-Academic and 11 athletes earning WHAC All-Academic. 

Hailey Stowe - Second Team All-WHAC 
The sophomore transfer from Adrian College, Hailey Stowe becomes the first Golden Eagle to earn an all-conference honor since 2020, earning second team after starting and playing all 18 games in the back line for CU. She came in and showed her presence as a defender, helping Cornerstone as a center back in 2022. Stowe led the team with 1516 minutes and was one of the best players winning the ball out of the air all season. 

Ainsley Harris - WHAC All Newcomer Team 
The freshman Ainsley Harris from Holland Christian High School earned WHAC All-Newcomer honors this season as a starter in the midfield. Harris scored two goals and had two assists in her freshman campaign to rank fourth on the team with six points. She started and played 17 of the team's 18 games this season for a total of 1396 minutes. Harris was one of the best at possessing the ball for CU, as she helped the team to the eight seed in the WHAC Tournament this season. 

Skylar Scholten - WHAC Champion of Character
Senior dual sport athlete Skylar Scholten has been named this year's Golden Eagle representative to the WHAC Champions of Character team. This award is selected by coaches and goes to the athlete that best represents the five NAIA core character traits of: respect, responsibility, servant leadership, sportsmanship, and integrity. 

WHAC All-Academic
The Golden Eagles continue to be one of the smartest teams in the NAIA as they have 11 athletes honored on the 2022 WHAC All-Academic Team. Those honorees are all juniors or seniors in academic class standing who have maintaned a GPA of 3.25 or higher during their career. The 2022 winners are: Sierah Adams, Nicki Bergsma, Elizabeth Kollen, Katelyn Lane, Hannah Luurtsema, Amber Nicholson, Skylar Scholten, Samatha Sebright, Hope Steenwyk, Sami Ulstad, and Jozlyn VanTol.
