Women's Basketball heads to #21 Indiana Tech for key WHAC Matchup

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich - The Golden Eagles saw their win streak extend to five-games after a tough victory over Concordia 71-64. Cornerstone saw a career game by Freshman Jaxi Long as she led the team with 25 points as Kennedy Helderop dropped 10 assists to help Cornerstone in the victory. Cornerstone only has one game this week as it comes against #21 Indiana Tech in Fort Wayne on Wednesday, November 30 at 6 p.m.

Staying Hot
The Golden Eagles continued their winnings ways that saw their win streak extend to five-straight. This is the longest win streak under Coach Yonkers as she will look to lead her players to a sixth-straight victory over a tough Indiana Tech team. Every game a new player has stepped up for the Golden Eagles as Jaxi Long was the one who helped Cornerstone past Concordia.

Offensive Production
The Golden Eagles have had great success with their offense during this five-game win streak. Jaxi Long had a career high 25 points with most of those coming in the second alf to get past Concordia last Wednesday. Kennedy Helderop also added 10 assists and Mackenzie Stein scored in double-figures for the second-straight game.

History vs. Indiana Tech
Indiana Tech has found success against the Golden Eagles winning the last eight matchups with ease. Last year Indiana Tech won both games by a score of 84-41 and 70-36 as they made another appearance in the NAIA National Tournament. Cornerstone will be looking to turn the tide against the Warriors in their upcoming matchup.
