Women's Basketball set to host RV Siena Heights

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich - The Golden Eagles win streak came to an end last week as they lost on the road to #15 Indiana Tech 112-74. Stephanie Ainsworth led the way with a double-double of 15 points 11 rebounds as Maddison Fulks followed right behind her with 12 points. Cornerstone has another tough matchup as they host a strong WHAC opponent in RV Siena Heights on Saturday, December 10 starting at 1 p.m.

Getting Back on Track
Cornerstone had a 10-day break before their upcoming matchup against RV Siena Heights where they will look to get back on track with a victory. The Golden Eagles are led by Sophomore Stephanie Ainsworth who is averaging 11.7 points and 5.9 rebounds per-game. She is coming off a double-double against Indiana Tech where she had 15 points and 11 rebounds. Olivia Kubik is right behind her averaging 10.4 points per-game. Kennedy Helderop continues to run the offenses where she has a team high 54 assists through 10 games.

Final Game Before Exams 
Cornerstone doesn't find themselves playing a lot of games during the month of December. This will be the first game for the Golden Eagles this month as they will have another 10-day break before their next matchup against Calvin University during Christmas Break.

History vs. Siena Heights
Siena Heights has found success against the Golden Eagles winning the last eight matchups. Cornerstone lost at home the last time Siena Heights came into town 69-55 as Siena has continued their stretch of good basketball. Cornerstone will look to end this drought on December 10.

Scouting RV Siena Heights
Siena Heights is veteran team that is led by their seniors. The Saints are averaging 75 points per-game shooting around 43% from the field. They are sitting tied for 1st in the WHAC with a 5-1 record and will be a tough matchup for the Golden Eagles. Seniors Sha'kyia Parker and Peyton Banks lead the way in scoring for the Saints where Parker averages 19.6 points per-game and Bank averages 15.4 points and 6.9 rebounds per-game.
