CU will then head to Georgia to play at Reinhards facility against Reinhard and Truett McConnell on Monday, March 7. The trip then ends in Kentucky with true road games at Midway on March 8 and Thomas More on March 9.
First Meetings
Of the six teams that Cornerstone faces this week, Cumberland is the only team CU has played before. Cornerstone and Cumberland met earlier this year and the Golden Eagles won in four sets during the MMVI Tournament.
Non-Conference Record
Cornerstone has had success in non-conference games this year, going 6-4 in those contests. CU will face six non-conference teams next week as they look to improve on their short 1-3 road record.
Block Party
The Polish freshman
Hubert Sliwinski has had a block party of late with five in three of his last four games. In the lone match he did not get five he recorded three. Sliwinski leads the team with 60 blocks on the year which is tied for
Jacob Brinks team best mark from last season.
