COLUMBIA, Ky. – Isaiah Lowe the freshman from Holland highlighted both the men's and women's golf action in Kentucky this past weekend, shooting a 72 in both the second and third rounds to record a new career best, breaking the program record for a career low round of 54 at 218. The previous record was set by Chet VandenBerg back in 2009 with a 220. The men finished in ninth place with a total score of 941 over 54-holes while the women finished sixth with a total score of 1146. Both teams will next compete on April 1-2 with the women headed to Trine and the men headed to Taylor University. 
 
Men's Results:
Isaiah Lowe continued his tear on day two as the freshman shot a career low of 72 in his second and third round of 18, putting him six strokes away from tying the program record. Cornerstone shot a 319 in the second round as a team and a season low 305 in the third round as a team to finish ninth overall in their first event of the spring season.

Women's Results: 
The Golden Eagles concluded their final two rounds at the Blue Raider Invite with a 371 and 378 team score each improvements from their first round. Freshman Joy Hess led the way with two 91's, but Cornerstone finished sixth of seven teams competing with a total score of 1146.

What's Next?
Cornerstone will have some time off before the men and women head to two different locations for their next event. The men will go to the Purgatory Invite hosted by Taylor on April 1-2, while the women head to the Trine Invite on April 2.
