SOUTH BEND, Ind. – Both teams had decent day on the course during round two at the Battle at Blackthorn. The men moved up to 8^th place out of nine teams after round two, while the women were steady, holding their spot in 11^th place out of 13 teams. 
 
Men's Results:
The men rebounded from a tough first day to move up to 8^th place, shooting a 673 total. CU shot a 332 in the second round, reducing their score by nine strokes compared to their day one score. Nathan Blumenstock and Logan Melcher led the way individually, shooting 165 total and tying for 30^th at +21. Melcher had a solid day, shooting a 79 in round two with two birdies.

On the men's side, Taylor University won the team competition, while Javan Johnson of Taylor won the individual event at +3.

Women's Results: 
The women stayed the course after round two, maintaining their position in 11^th place with a two-round score of 727. CU shot a 365 in the second round. Kenzi Uhen led the way with eight pars en route to an 85 round two score and 173, +29, two-day total. Uhen finished 33^rd overall in the individual competition.

What's Next?
The Men's team is back in action this coming Monday, April 18 at the AQ Spring Invite at Kauffman GC. Tee times have yet to be determined.
 
The Women's team will tee off again on April 25 for day one of two of the WHAC Tournament. Both days will be played in Augusta, Michigan at Stonehedge GC. Tee times have yet to be determined.
