GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Head Coach
Chris Williamson continues to add to the second year Cornerstone program as Jackson Turner has signed his letter of intent to join the CU program. Turner comes all the way from Eagle Creek, Oregon where he attended Estacada High School and Summit Learning Charter Academy.
Jackson was an outstanding athlete at the 195lb weight class, winning districts in 2021 and finishing second in states. He was a two-time state qualifier and finished top three in districts twice as well.
Jackson is the son of RJ and Angie Turner and he plans to major in Business during his time at Cornerstone.
Why CU?
"I first looked into Cornerstone after the coaches reached out to me. I then checked out the campus and met with coaches and a few of the wrestlers. The thing that 'sealed the deal' for me was the coaches and the program they are developing. I am really excited to be a part of this family oriented team that is not only focused on developing wrestlers but encouraging us in our walk with the Lord." – Jackson Turner
