SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The Golden Eagles opened the ITA Regional at Holy Cross College in South Bend with the rounds of 64 and 32 in both singles and doubles play. CU saw a lot of success with
Jose Oliva,
Andres Jimenez, and
Jaden Bender all advancing to the singles round of 16.
Alejandro Santana also advanced in singles in Flight B on the day. In doubles, the duo of Oliva/Bender recorded the biggest victory defeating the top seed on the day to stay alive, while Oliva/Bender also still remain in competition. Cornerstone will play all matches leading up to finals tomorrow and then finals will be played on Saturday.
