GRAND RAPIDS, Mich –The Golden Eagles had an eventful week of games last week that saw them go 1-1. Cornerstone started off the week against Rochester as a questionable call in the fourth forced the game to go into overtime. If one wasn't enough, the game went into double-overtime where Cornerstone would end up losing 117- 107. Maddison Fulks led the way scoring 27 points. They then traveled to rival Aquinas and would end up winning that game 63-60. Cornerstone was down 11 to start the fourth quarter and made a huge comeback thanks to an Olivia Kubik late made layup to give the Golden Eagles the edge over the Saints. Cornerstone will host Lawrence Tech on Wednesday, January 11 for a 5:30 p.m. tip off and UNOH on Saturday, January 14 for a 1 p.m. tip off.
