Last Week vs. Ranked Opponents
Cornerstone had a tough week facing (7) Aquinas and (RV) UNOH last week. CU was unable to score, falling 3-0 in both contests. The Golden Eagles are now 6-4-2, 2-3-2 WHAC on the year and will continue a tough stretch this week with fourth and fifth ranked Lawrence Tech and Madonna on the schedule.

Scouting Lawrence Tech
The Blue Devils are having their best season since 2019 where they won 11 games. LTU is currently 8-3-2, 5-2-0 WHAC on the year and have won their last three games allowing just one goal. Lawrence Tech has been great on the offensive end, averaging over 2.5 goals per game and seeing goals come from multiple players. 13 different players have found the net already, led by junior Maliea May who has six goals. LTU does a great job moving the ball as well with 22 assists on their 33 goals.

Scouting Madonna
The Crusaders are off to a bit of a slower start than usual but are still one of the better teams in the WHAC with an 8-5-1, 5-2-0 WHAC record. Unlike LTU, Madonna is known for their defense with seven shutouts this season to rank 24th in the NAIA. Oddly, Madonna has struggled at home with just a 3-4-0 record but gone 5-1-1 on the road this season. Madonna has split time between two keepers in Mackenzie Fifer and Veronica Kozak. Fifer has started 10 games and recorded a .789 save percentage, while Kozak has started in four played in 10 and recorded a .833 save percentage.
