GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Women's Basketball is back in action this week taking on the number one team in the conference in Indiana Tech. Cornerstone went 1-1 last week with a victory over Lourdes 75-62 and then falling on the road to Concordia 60-54. The Golden Eagles currently sit in fourth in the WHAC standings at 3-1 and will look for an upset on Saturday, December 9 over the Warriors.

Stephanie Ainsworth's first double-double of the year (12 points, 14 rebound). Women's Basketball would then travel to Concordia and struggled to find their offensive stroke as they shot 31.7% from the field in a 60-54 loss that saw Concordia move to 5-0 in conference play as the Golden Eagles fell to 3-1.
Cornerstone now has another tough road matchup on their hands with top ranked Indiana Tech as the Golden Eagles look for an upset this Saturday.

Indiana Tech comes into the matchup against Cornerstone with an overall record of 7-1 (5-0) with their one loss coming in their second game of the season against #RV Georgetown. The Warriors have continued to dominate in conference play beating their opponents by an average of 15.4 points per-game, with their closest being a seven-point win over Siena Heights. The Warriors are a well balance team with four players averaging 10 or more points and are led by Erika Foy who is averaging 19.4 points and 9.6 rebounds per-game. The grad-student is coming off a 24 point, eight rebound performance over Aquinas.
