GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Golden Eagles got back on track with a dominant victory over UM-Dearborn 80-58. It was fast paced game from start to finish that saw Cornerstone take advantage of UM-Dearborn's mistakes causing 31 turnovers for the game. Senior
Kennedy Helderop led the way for the Golden Eagles with an overall solid performance with 22 points, eight rebounds, four assists, and four steals in the victory over the Wolverines. Cornerstone will now face off against Aquinas this Saturday, February 4 at 1 p.m. for Senior Night as they celebrate

Game Highlights:
- First Quarter
- Stephanie Ainsworth started the game right where she left scoring four-straight points for the Golden Eagles as Kennedy Helderop added a layup of her own to give Cornerstone the early 6-2 lead after one minute of play.
- Siena Smith of UM-Dearborn made two threes to tie the game 8-8 with 5:48 remaining in the first quarter after Cornerstone's hot start, has cooled off.
- Olivia Kubik and Maddison Fulks both made threes for the Golden Eagles to tie the game at 14-14 after UM-Dearborn went on a little run to take the lead.
- Olivia Kubik has continued her hot start nailing a corner three, off the pass of Kennedy Helderop to give Cornerstone the 20-18 lead with two-minutes remaining in the first quarter.
- Mackenzie Stien made a nice layup to give Cornerstone the 24-21 lead after the first quarter.
- Second Quarter
- The pressure from Cornerstone's press have turned turnovers into points against UM-Dearborn as Mackenzie Stien has scored six quick points to extended the lead to 32-23 with eight-minutes remaining in the second quarter.
- Cornerstone and UM-Dearborn have scored at will as both teams have been able to find easy baskets with the Golden Eagles leading 42-32 with five-minutes remaining in the second.
- Jaxi Long went coast-to-coast after the steal for a nice lefty layup as she ended the Cornerstone scoring drought to make it a 45-32 Golden Eagle lead.
- Cornerstone heads into halftime with the lead 48-32 as Kennedy Helderop would make a three a minute before the buzzer.
- Third Quarter
- It was a slow start to the third quarter for Cornerstone and UM-Dearborn as both teams have scored four points as Stephanie Ainsworth scored on a nice hook shot making it 53-36.
- UM-Dearborn has gone on an 8-2 run to cut the lead 55-44 as Cornerstone is struggling to score on the offensive end.
- Olivia Kubik has ended the Cornerstone scoring drought scoring five-straight points for the Golden Eagles. Making it 60-44 with 2:20 remaining in the third quarter.
- Cornerstone closed the quarter on a 7-2 run to extend their lead 67-46 at the end of third.
- Fourth Quarter
- There has been two total points scored in the first two-minutes of the fourth quarter as the fast-paced game is starting to slow down as Cornerstone leads 68-47.
- Cornerstone used the next two-minutes to go on a 7-1 run to extend their lead 75-48 after Stephanie Ainsworth makes a layup off a nice pass from Jaxi Long.
- UM-Dearborn went on a 6-1 run to make it a 78-54 game with 2:27 remaining in the fourth.
- Cornerstone would end up winning the game 80-58.
