GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Golden Eagles are back home for the first time in two weeks as they take on #RV Taylor on Saturday, September 9 at 4 p.m. Cornerstone has continued the theme of playing against Crossroad League opponents as they played Goshen and Saint Francis. Look for Cornerstone to stay aggressive as they look to move to 2-1 on the young season.

Women's soccer got their first win of the season last Friday in a 2-0 victory over Saint Francis. It was an overall great performance from the offense and defense as
Tori Woodwyk and
Kaitlynn Sal scored their first goals of the season.
Morgan Scholten got her first win of the season in goal as she had two saves for the game.
Gracie Gortmaker continues to be aggressive on the offensive side of the pitch as she has seven shots on goal through her first two collegiate games, leading the team.

Taylor has gotten off to a hot start this season as they sit 2-0-2 on the season with receiving votes. After winning their first two games of the season, they have tied the next two with one of those ties coming against WHAC opponent UNOH. The Trojans are averaging two goals per-game through their first four games of the season as they are led by senior Chloe Sena and junior Audrey Grimm who both have two goals on the season.
