SYLVANIA, Ohio – Wrestling returned to action for the first time since mid-December and it showed in a 32-14 loss to Lourdes. "The long layoff really seemed to hurt us" said Coach
Chris Williamson. "Lourdes deserves a lot of credit for the way they competed tonight." Despite the loss, there always good things to learn and take from a performance.
Devan Johnson competed well and came out with a decision victory over his opponent.
Joe Lashuay dominated his opponent in a techfall victory to highlight the key victories for the Golden Eagles.
"We are already looking forward to the next chapter and getting better." Said
Chris Williamson as they will look to fine tune and gear up for that next chapter as that will take place on Saturday, January 13 in the Spartan Mat Classic.
