NORTH MANCHESTER, Ind. – Wrestling competed in the Spartan Mat Classic and the results were much better than what happened on Wednesday night. Cornerstone saw 11 wrestlers score points for the team with eight of them placing in their weight divisions, giving Cornerstone their highest ever placement at a tournament.
Trevor Marsman was back in action and finished in second place, falling in his championship bout. The same goes to
Thade Radosa who finished in second, falling in his championship match.
Devan Johnson competed well, finishing in third as the Golden Eagles saw improvements across the board.
"They guys responded really well after Wednesday's results" said Coach
Chris Williamson. Cornerstone will look to use that momentum against conference opponents Cleary and Marian on Tuesday, January 16 as they host both, right here in the Mol Arena starting at 6 p.m.
