GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – After a week off, women's soccer is back in action as they travel to Ohio to take on #25 Northwestern Ohio on Saturday, October 12. It's getting to that point of the season where every match matters leading up to the WHAC Tournament with just six matches remaining. The Golden Eagles are currently 5-4-2 (3-2-1) on the year.

Last Week Recap
Women's Soccer is coming off two games last week in which they had back. They opened the week in a tough 1-0 loss to Rochester Christian in which they saw one of their top goal scorers in Tori Woodwyk, receive a red card which meant she was unable to play in her next match. On Saturday, the shorthanded Golden Eagles fell 1-0 to Lourdes to end the week 0-2. With the full team back this week, women's soccer has another tough opponent on the schedule with a matchup against #25 UNOH as they look to get back into the win column.
 
WHAC Outlook
With six games remaining for most teams, this is where the WHAC standings are. Aquinas leads the way with a perfect 7-0 record with UNOH right behind them in second at 6-1. Siena Heights, Lourdes, and Indiana Tech round out the three, four, and five seeds in the conference with the Golden Eagles currently sitting tied in sixth with Madonna. After UNOH this weekend, the Golden Eagles have matchups against Lawrence Tech, Defiance, Siena Heights, Aquinas, and Madonna to end the year.
