GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Women's Soccer kicks off their WHAC postseason play this week with a win or go home matchup with the Gray Wolves. The Golden Eagles will travel to Lourdes on Wednesday, November 6for a 6 p.m. kickoff.

Women's Soccer is coming off a solo match week that closed out their regular season play. The Golden Eagles celebrated their Senior Night with a comeback victory over Madonna.

Arianna Brooks both scored in the second half that led Cornerstone to the 2-1 win. Cornerstone finished their regular season with a record of 8-6-3 (6-4-2).
WHAC Tournament Outlook
The Golden Eagles finished in fifth place in the WHAC conference which means they will take on the fourth-place finisher Lourdes. The Gray Wolves finished with a record of 9-3 in the WHAC conference. Lourdes won the solo meeting against Cornerstone mid-season with a narrow 1-0 victory. This result could be an early insight on a competitive first round matchup in the WHAC tournament.
Scouting Lourdes
Lourdes comes into the matchup against the Golden Eagles with an overall record of 12-3-1 (9-3) on the year, finishing in fourth place in the WHAC conference.
