GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Women's Basketball will continue their road trip this week before they return home in a two-game week. The Golden Eagles first travel to face Bethel on November 6 then will take on a tough #3 Indiana Wesleyan team at home on November 9. Cornerstone will need to bounce back quickly as they look to secure their first win of the season.

Last Week Recap
Women's Basketball struggled this past week at the Ruth Gunden Memorial Classic where they went 0-2 at the tournament. The first game came against #22 Saint Francis where the Golden Eagles simply could not keep up and were defeated 72-48.
Olivia Kubik led the way for Cornerstone with 10 points in the contest. The Golden Eagles next test came against the tournament hosts Goshen College. The Maple Leaf's played very well and shot 55.2% in the game on their way to a 74-48 victory.
Olivia Kubik completed a major milestone in the tournament as she reached her 1,000
th career point after she led the team in points both days.
Scouting Bethel
Bethel comes into the matchup against the Golden Eagles with a record of 2-0. The Pilots are coming off a victory over WHAC opponent Cleary 67-59. Bethel is shooting at an alarming 42.9% from behind the arc as they are a serious threat to put points up quickly against any opponent. The Pilots are led by Olivia Nickerson who is averaging 28 points per-game through the first two games of the season.
Scouting #3 Indiana Wesleyan
Indiana Wesleyan comes into the matchup against the Golden Eagles with a record of 3-0. The Wildcats have started off their season hot as their average margin of victory sits at over 52 points a game. Indiana Wesleyan is led by Lilli Frasure who is averaging 18.7 points per-game. The Wildcats also average 99.3 points per-game which will test the Golden Eagles defense as well as their offense as they will look to keep up with the scoring.
