FORT WAYNE, Ind. – It's survive and advance for women's basketball as they traveled to Indiana Tech for the WHAC Semifinal game. It was a defensive battle as the Warriors got the best of the Golden Eagles 61-40. Cornerstone shot just 25% for the game with
Mackenzie Stien leading the way with 13 points and eight rebounds. With the loss, the 2023-24 season for women's basketball has come to close with an overall record of 16-13, their best record since the 2017-18 seasin.

- First Quarter
- The Golden Eagles started out hot, taking a 5-0 advantage over the Warriors as Indiana Tech's head coach calls a timeout out of frustration three minutes into the game.
- Indiana Tech goes on a 10-0 run out of the timeout to take a 10-5 advantage over Cornerstone.
- Mackenzie Stien would hit a jumper to end the scoring drought for the Golden Eagles to make it 10-7.
- Indiana Tech leads 12-7 after the first quarter.
- Second Quarter
- Maddison Fulks and Stephanie Ainsworth make baskets for the Golden Eagles as Indiana Tech continues to lead 17-11.
- Indiana Tech has slowly started to pull away as they now lead 22-13 with three minutes remaining in the first half.
- Emma Costen hits the jumper that rattles around the rim and in to make it 26-15 with 26 seconds left.
- Indiana Tech nails a three right before the halftime buzzer sounds as they lead 29-15.
- Third Quarter
- Stephanie Ainsworth and Mackenzie Stien got the scoring started in the second half for Cornerstone.
- A 9-0 run that covered four minutes from Indiana Tech, sees them leading 38-18.
- Maddison Fulks ends the scoring drought with a three pointer to get the Golden Eagles going.
- Mackenzie Stien makes another layup and Maddison Fulks makes a free throw as Cornerstone finds themselves down 45-24 heading into the final quarter.
- Fourth Quarter
- Cornerstone opened the fourth quarter on a 5-0 run thanks to a layup from Gracie Gortmaker and a three from Jaylee Long.
- Mackenzie Stien makes back-to-back layups as Indiana Tech calls a timeout to slow the momentum of the Golden Eagles. The Warriors lead 48-33.
- Gracie Gortmaker and Mackenzie Stien score again for the Golden Eagles, but Indiana Tech continues to lead big.
- Women's Basketball season comes to a close as Indiana Tech wins 61-40.
