Theeuwes Breaks a School Record as Men's Golf finishes Third at Ackerman-Allen

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Men's Golf had a quick turnaround as they competed in the Ackerman-Allen Invitational hosted by Taylor University. In round one, it was their best round of the spring as they shot a 291, sitting in third. Luke Theeuwes led the way, shooting a career best and low 67 (-5). Isaiah Lowe and Landon Wanless were right behind him as they both shot 74 (+2). In round two, Luke Theeuwes and Isaiah Lowe led the way shooting 72 (E) to help Cornerstone to a team total of 293. They would finish in third, two strokes behind the winner in Marian.
 
During his two rounds at Ackerman Allen, Luke Theeuwes broke the school record for a 36-Hole tournament, finishing at (-5) 139. The team also broke the 36-Hole Team record by three strokes shooting 584. Theeuwes also won the tournament, placing first as an individual and the second golfer this season to do so under the Fahlen coaching duo.
 
Men's Golf is playing their best golf at the right time as they well compete in the WHAC Championship on April 19 and 20 at Stoatin Brae, the last tournament of the year.

What's Next?
Cornerstone will be back in action over the weekend in the WHAC Championship at Stoatin Brae on April 19 & 20. Their last tournament of the year.
