MIDLAND, Mich. – Women's Tennis competed against Indiana Tech in the WHAC Semifinal round and came away with a close 4-3 victory. Cornerstone won two of the three doubles to secure two points for the Golden Eagles before heading over to singles.
Ximena Matamoros opened singles with a victory over her opponent as well as
Sarah Daza winning easy 6-0, 6-2 over hers. Indiana Tech would secure two other singles victories before
Jadyn Koenes would secure the victory with a 6-4, 6-4 victory over her opponent. Women's tennis will face off against UNOH tomorrow in the WHAC Championship match starting at 11 a.m.

Men's Tennis competed in the WHAC Semifinal round against Lawrence Tech and came away with a close 4-3 victory. Cornerstone secured two wins in the doubles portion of the match and the singles was a back-and-forth affair.
Santiago Castellanos opened it up with a 7-5, 7-6 victory before Lawrence Tech would win the next two.
Daniel Alfaro battled in his match and snuck away with a victory 6-1, 6-7, 7-6.
Jose Oliva would later secure the victory with a 6-4, 6-0 victory over his opponent. Men's Tennis will face off against UNOH tomorrow at 2 p.m. in the WHAC Championship match.
