AUGUSTA, Mich. – Men's Golf competed in the Battle at the Brae hosted by Lawrence Tech. It was a good preview to conference as conference will be played at Stoatin Brae in two weeks from today. In the first round of the tournament, Cornerstone shot their best round of the spring so far with a 296-team total led by Landon Wanless's 72 (+1). On the second day, Cornerstone struggled shooting 14 strokes worse on their way to a team score of 310. The Golden Eagle went from second place after day one to sixth at the end of the tournament as Lawrence Tech won their own tournament shooting a team score of 585. Men's Golf will be back in action next weekend at Blackthorn Golf Club on April 12 and 13.
