GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Men's Volleyball comes into the final week of the regular season with an overall record of 18-4 (12-3) on the year. They are coming off a 3-1 week with their only loss coming against (7) Saint Xavier in four sets. Cornerstone opens the week with their final regular season home match against Siena Heights on Tuesday, April 9 and finish off the week with two away matches at Mount Vernon on Friday, April 12 and Saturday, April 13. The Golden Eagles are currently in second in the WHAC standings.

Last Week Recap
The Golden Eagles had a busy week last week, playing in four matches and coming away with three victories. Volleyball opened their week with a 3-1 victory over Aquinas where
Ernest Broaster tallied 17 kills. They would then hit the road for a quick three matches and started it off with a 3-1 victory over Calumet. They would then do a quick double header in Chicago and won their first match 3-1 over Viterbo and ended it with a tough loss against number seven in the nation Saint Xavier 3-1. The week moved volleyball to 18-4 on the year as they gear up for the final week of the regular season.
A Look in the WHAC
It's the final week of the regular season for men's volleyball as the Golden Eagles are currently in second with a half match lead over Indiana Tech. Lourdes is the clear front runner to win the WHAC as they are currently 15-1 with two matches left. There is a three-game cushion between second and fourth for Cornerstone, with that fourth-place team being Mount Vernon who Cornerstone ends the year at for two matches. Scouting Siena Heights
Siena Heights comes into the matchup against the Golden Eagles with an 11-12 (8-7) record coming off back-to-back conference losses. The Saints gave Cornerstone an early season scare in their first matchup of the year, but the Golden Eagles prevailed to a 3-2 victory. It was the first two sets the Golden Eagles had lost on the year. Siena Heights is led by the attacking duo of Daniel Rua (222 kills) and Marc Arsenault (211) kills while Zak Tucker does the setting.
Scouting Mount Vernon Nazarene
Mount Vernon comes into the matchup against the Golden Eagles with an overall record of 14-8 (10-6) coming off a 3-1 victory over Goshen. This will be the first time these two teams have met since Cornerstone's upset victory in the WHAC Tournament last year over these Cougars. The fourth-place team in the WHAC is led by Spencer Stanley (308 kills) and set by Jaysen Matsumoto.
