NEW BOSTON, Mich. – The Men's and Women's Cross Country competed in their second race of the year at the Warrior Challenge. The women competed in the 6K and finish in 4
th of 14 teams and the second-best NAIA team behind #16 Grace. The men competed in the 8K and finished in 6
th of 14 teams and the second-best NAIA team among the men. The Golden Eagles will compete in two weeks at the Gans Creek Classic on September 27.
Men's Results: 6th of 14
The men competed in their first 8K of the year and came away with a solo winner in
Jamin Thompson as he won the race with a time of 25:25.4.
Peyton Tipton and
Chase Holwerda were the next two with a time of 26:36 and 26:42. They finished second among the NAIA teams behind Grace with four runs with sub 27-minute times.

The women competed in their first 6K of the year and came away with a four-place team finish and second among the NAIA teams. The Golden Eagles saw three runners finish in the top 20 with

Maddie Bosch finishing 18
th. All with sub 24-minute times.
