Women’s Soccer is back in action this week with a road matchup against Trinity Christian College

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Women's Soccer is back in action this week with a road matchup against Trinity Christian College. The Golden Eagles are coming off a tough battle in a 1-1 draw against the University of Saint Francis and a big 8-0 victory over Grace Christian. Cornerstone looks to add another win to their record as they remain undefeated on the season through the first three matches (2-0-1).

Last Week Recap 
Women's Soccer hosted two matches this past week, first facing Grace Christian University on Tuesday which ended as a 8-0 thrashing from the Golden Eagles. The ladies scored their most goals since 2011 in this victory that moved them to 2-0 on the season. After two days of needed rest the ladies took on the University of Saint Francis that ended in a 1-1 draw. This game was a back and forth battle that looked to provide more goals but the woodwork played a large role in the match. Gracie Gortmaker also made it three for three on the season, scoring in every start. Cornerstone will be on the road this Tuesday in a solo game week facing Trinity Christian College. 

Scouting Trinity Christian
Trinity comes into the contest against the Golden Eagles coming off of two consecutive draws on the road. They remain 1-0 at home and look to defend their perfect home record against Cornerstone on Tuesday. The Trolls also have scored in every match they have played so far this season and will look to continue a steady offensive attack against the Golden Eagles.
