Last Time Out
Women's Basketball started the new year off with a battle on the road with Lourdes. The game did not go as the Golden Eagles may have wished for as they were defeated 82-62. The Gray Wolves proved to be a formidable force when using pace up the floor as Cornerstone could not keep up down the stretch. Jaxi Long led the way once again with 19 points as she paced all scorers in this game. The Ladies sole game of the week sets them back to 7-8 (6-1) on the year as they gave up their flawless conference record. The Golden Eagles will now turn their focus onto these two important conference showdowns on the road.

Scouting Lawrence Tech
Lawrence Tech comes into the matchup against the Golden Eagles with an overall record of 2-13 (0-7) averaging only 63.9 points per-game. Reese Williams leads this Lawrence Tech team with 11.8 points per-game and has posted a 24-point outing this season as she may be the only true threat for the Golden Eagles. The Blue Devils season has not gone the way they have hoped this year as they have been winless in conference play. Cornerstone may look at this matchup as a chance to get their confidence back against a depleted Lawrence Tech squad.

Scouting Siena Heights
Siena Heights comes into the matchup against the Golden Eagles with an overall record of 8-7 (5-2) averaging 66.1 points per-game. The Saints are led by E'Anna Won who has averaged 13.5 points per game this season. Siena Heights also sits just two spots behind Cornerstone in the WHAC conference standings. A victory for the Saints would tie the record between these two teams as this matchup provides significant implications looking into the postseason.
