Last Season Recap
Women's Basketball finished last season with a 17-14 (14-6) record. The Golden Eagles went on to finish fourth in the WHAC and made a run in the conference tournament. CU beat Concordia and then took down a receiving votes Indiana Tech team before losing to Lourdes in the championship. 
 
A look at the WHAC
Cornerstone is slated to finish fourth in the WHAC according to the preseason poll. Indiana Tech was voted to win the conference with Aquinas and Lourdes rounding out the top three. 
 
Scouting Goshen
Goshen opens their season on October 29th against IU South Bend before their tournament matchup against the Golden Eagles. The Maple Leafs went 11-17 last season and lost to a #4 Indiana Wesleyan in the first round of the Crossroads League tournament. 
 
Scouting Saint Francis
Eighth ranked Saint Francis starts their season against Viterbo on October 31st before matching up against Cornerstone. Saint Francis went 26-5 last season winning their first 14 games. The Cougars would go on to lose to Marian in the semifinals of the Crossroads League tournament and then lose to Indiana Tech in the first round of the NAIA National tournament.
