Grand Rapids, Mich./Cedar Rapids, Iowa – Men's Cross Country split the team today to take on two competitions in the Midwest region. The first of which took place down the road at Calvin University, where Men's Cross Country placed fourth as a team at the Knight Invite out of nine teams. The competition was highlighted by Aidan Goodwin's 39th place finish out of the 136 runners with a time of 27:45.5. The Seminole Valley Stampede was a different story for the team, as they placed second as a team with two top-ten finishes from Chase Holwerda and Ethan Krampe who both had sub-26 8K times. The Golden Eagles will have a long break before their next competition as they take on the NAIA Great Lakes Challenge hosted by Aquinas College in Grand Rapids, Mich. That meet will take place on October 25th.
