GRAND RAPIDS, Mich – The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) has announced the Women's Volleyball awards for the 2025 season and five Golden Eagles earned an award.
Gianna Warwick,
Aubrey Johnson and
Gabby VerBerkmoes earned First Team All-Conference honors with
Dyllan Hanna winning the Champion of Character award. Women's Volleyball continues their run in the WHAC tournament on Friday, November 14th as they take on Indiana Tech at 7:30 pm.
Gianna Warwick – First Team All-Conference / All-Freshman Team
Freshman
Gianna Warwick earned her first, First Team All-Conference honors playing a massive role with the Golden Eagles in her first season. Warwick recorded 553 digs (4.98 d/s) and 30 service aces while earning back-to-back WHAC Defensive Player of the Week honors.
Aubrey Johnson – First Team All-Conference
Sophomore
Aubrey Johnson is no stranger to awards season. The sophomore was a member of the All-Freshman team season and earned first team honors in her debut season. Johnson followed that up with first team honors once again accumulating 381 kills (3.53 k/s), 330 digs and 38 aces.
Gabby VerBerkmoes – First Team All-Conference
Junior
Gabby VerBerkmoes added to her list of awards in her junior campaign. VerBerkmoes earned her first, First Team All-Conference honors this season as she totaled 299 kills and 123 total blocks (23 solo).
Gwyn VerBerkmoes – All-Freshman Team
Freshman
Gwyn VerBerkmoes earned her first all-conference honors being named to the All-Freshman team for 2025. In her first season with the Golden Eagles, VerBerkmoes has 197 kills and 31 total blocks.
Dyllan Hanna – Champion of Character
Junior
Dyllan Hanna was selected as Cornerstone's representative to the WHAC Champions of Character team by the CU staff for best representing the five NAIA core character traits of respect, responsibility, integrity, sportsmanship, and servant leadership.
WHAC All-Academic
Women's Volleyball saw ten athletes earn WHAC All-Academic honors for the 2025 season. This award is given to any athlete who has been on the roster for a year or more as well as a sophomore and above in academic class standing with a GPA of 3.25 or higher. The winners are
