Men's Wrestling has Seven Wrestlers Place at the Albion Open

Albion, Mich. – Men's Wrestling finished off the weekend at the Albion Dual on Sunday, November 16th. The Golden Eagles had seven wrestlers place, including a third-place finish from Jon Huggler. Cornerstone will be back in action next Saturday as they travel to Defiance for the WHAC Super Duals.

Coach's Reflection

"Jon Huggler looked incredibly sharp all day. He missed out on the finals after giving up the go ahead score in the closing seconds of his semi finals match but showed a lot of improvement from the first few weekends . He put together a complete tournament, which isn't always easy to do. Parker Holt looked better every match of the tournament & I was really impressed with his coachability and effort all day. Joel Simon and Dalton Birchmeier both had to dig deep in a few matches on their way to 5th place finishes. As a team we wrestled well on our way to a 5th place finish! Our team represented themselves, our university, and most importantly the lord very well all day!"
