Gatlinburg, Tenn. – Men's Wrestling got back to the mat as they traveled South for the Rocky Top Duals. This matchup was hosted in Gatlinburg Tennessee where Cornerstone faced off with Keiser University where they suffered a narrow 24-18 loss. The Golden Eagles saw early success from
Jeffrey Bailey and
Aurelio Mendez as they won both duals to kick off the competition.
Cole Karasinski also highlighted the event with his takedown win, but the rest of the CU team struggled to bring home points as Cornerstone ended up falling. The Golden Eagles next event comes on January 9
th at 6:00 p.m. against Southwestern Michigan College on the road.
