AUGUSTA, Mich. - Men's Golf competed in a two-day tournament at Stoatin Brae, a preview tournament of the WHAC Championship taking place in just a short week. Cornerstone was sitting pretty after the first day as they held a solo lead after posting a team score of 289 behind 
Landon Wanless's 71 (E) round, four shots better than Lawrence Tech. Day two, the Golden Eagles still played very well, but came in with a team score of 299 behind 
Luke Theeuwes's 73 (+2), falling to second place and losing to Lawrence Tech by just six strokes. The Golden Eagles saw four of their five starters finish inside the top 10 with 
Logan Melcher placing 5th, 
Landon Wanless and 
Luke Theeuwes tying for 6th, and 
Isaiah Lowe placing 8th to round out the top action.
Men's Golf will be back in action in the Monday, April 21 as they play in town over at Watermark CC for one last tuneup before the WHAC Championship.
