Grand Rapids, Mich. - Cornerstone's own
Landon Wanless has been named the WHAC Men's Golfer of the Week after an outstanding performance at the Lourdes Invitational. Competing at the Legacy Golf Club, Wanless shot an even-par 72 to claim first place out of a field of 109 golfers. His steady play on a challenging course not only led the Golden Eagles but also secured him the top spot individually, earning conference recognition and highlighting his impact on the men's golf program this fall.
Landon will look to carry this impressive start to the season into their next match on Monday, September 22nd to open up the WHAC Fall Preview. The Golden Eagles will continue play one last time at Stoatin Brae Golf Club until the WHAC shifts to The Players Club at Woodland Trails in Yorktown, Ind. for the Spring Championship.
