Last Week Recap
Men's Volleyball went 1-1 in their season opening weekend falling to #5 Missouri Valley and defeating #10 Benedictine Mesa. Matthew True led the Golden Eagles attack with 27 kills and 10 blocks on the weekend while Andrew Galanes had 17 kills and 46 assists. 
 

Scouting Bethel
Bethel begins their season receiving votes and will face Cornerstone for their first match of the season. Last season the Pilots went 14-16 (7-9 Conference) where they beat Indiana Tech in the quarterfinal round of the WHAC tournament before losing to Lawrence Tech in the semifinal.

Scouting St. Thomas (Fla.)
St. Thomas opened the season as the #3 ranked team in the country and have played four matches so far and have a 3-1 record. The Bobcats will play Eureka College, #2 Saint Xavier (Ill.) and #7 Lawrence Tech before their match with the Golden Eagles. Kaelen Ingram is leading the St. Thomas attack with 63 total kills averaging 4.20 kills/set and 4.87 points per set.  
 
Scouting Governors State
Governors State starts the season off receiving votes to be in the top 15 and have played four games so far going 1-3 to start the year. The Jaguars lost to #8 Park, #14 Westcliff and Morningside. Diego Antunez leads the Jaguars with 55 kills, averaging 3.24 kills per set.
