Women's Basketball went 1-1 last week to close out the regular season defeating to Aquinas 56-49 before losing to Indiana Tech 65-39 on Senior Day.
Jaxi Long led CU with 19 points against Aquinas while
Julie Ashbaugh had 11 points and nine boards. Ashbaugh led the Golden Eagles in scoring against Indiana Tech with 13 points and grabbed nine rebounds while
Gracie Gortmaker totaled nine points and nine rebounds.
WHAC Tournament
Indiana Tech won the WHAC regular season and secured the one seed in the tournament followed by Rochester Christian at number two and Lourdes at three. Aquinas will host Siena Heights, Rochester will host Cleary and Lourdes will host UNOH with all quarterfinal games being played on Wednesday, February 25th. The semifinal games will be played on Friday, February 27th with the tournament championship set to be played on Monday, March 2nd.
Scouting Indiana Tech
Indiana Tech finished the regular season 23-5 while going 20-2 in conference play. The Warriors beat CU both times in the regular season winning by 18 in game one and by 26 in game two. Indiana Tech has won 15 of their last 16 games and are averaging 74.7 points per game while holding their opponents to 51.2 points per game.
