McElroy

Bill McElroy

McElroy comes to Cornerstone after 14 years with the Lowell High School softball program. He spent eight years as an assistant varsity coach before taking over as the head coach for six seasons. In those six seasons as head coach, McElroy led one of the most dominant programs in the state, going 118-43 and winning three conference championships and two district championships. McElroy was named the District Coach of the Year in 2016 and was the John Bos All-Star Game Coach in 2012.

Along with coaching the game of softball, McElroy did a ton of work to develop the girls who went through his program. He developed a mentoring program and instituted a community give back day where Lowell athletes helped out community members in a multitude of different ways.Â
