Reese is in his first season as an assistant at Cornerstone.
The coaching career began in 2018 for Reese when he volunteered at his high school alma mater Constantine with the baseball program. After four years of that, he was named a varsity assistant in 2022. In 2023, he moved to the junior varsity head coach position and had the opportunity to lead the young program at Constantine.
Reese also had the opportunity to play collegiate baseball at Defiance College, who recently just announced they will be rejoining the NAIA and the WHAC. He was primarily a pitcher at Defiance but also was a designated hitter and first baseman for the Yellow Jackets. He earned All-Tournament honors in 2019 and was a three-time Academic All-Conference athlete.
During his collegiate career, Reese met his now wife Mikayla Reese (Meade) who is a Cornerstone softball 2023 alum and served as a pitcher with the program.
Reese graduated from Defiance College with his Bachelor's in Sports Management in 2022 and a Master's of Business Administration in 2023.
Outside of coaching, Reese currently works at Spradling Marine and RV and is Internal Sales there. When he is not working, Reese enjoys spending time with his family and friends, traveling, and working out or watching movies.
