Alex Bahn enters his fifth year at Cornerstone after being hired in February of 2020 as the inaugural Head Coach of the Cornerstone Men's Volleyball program. Bahn closed out his fourth year at Cornerstone with a record of 53-60 (.469), along with having coached 18 NAIA Scholar-Athletes, One Newcomer of the Year, One Libero of the Year, One Setter of the Year, five First Team All-WHAC players, seven Second Team All-WHAC players, one NAIA Third Team All-American, and one Coach of the Year honor.
Before coming to Cornerstone, Bahn has spent four seasons as the Assistant Boys' and one season as the Girls' Volleyball Coach at York Suburban High School in York, Pennsylvania. He helped lead the boys' team to two state tournament appearances including state runner-up in 2019. Bahn also helped the boys' team to a District III Final in 2018. On the girls' side, Bahn helped the team to districts in 2019 in a state filled with talent at the high school volleyball level.
From 2018-20 Bahn has also served as a head coach within the Trojan Volleyball Club in Pennsylvania at the U-18 level. Trojan Volleyball Club is one of the elite programs in the state as they provide high level training and competition in both boys' and girls' volleyball.
As a player, Bahn had significant success competing in the USA Boys' Volleyball Junior National Championships four times with Yorktowne Volleyball Club in York, Pennsylvania. The teams best finish included a top 10 honor nationally. Bahn then went on to play collegiately at Lancaster Bible College from 2011-14, where he was named the North Eastern Athletic Conference Player of the Year in 2013 and served as a team captain.
Bahn is married to his wife Olivia and has three kids in Cassidy, Hudson, and Emary.
