Xiong is in her first season as an assistant at Cornerstone, and has spent time all over the Grand Rapids area in the coaching ranks, spending the 2022-23 season as an NCAA DII assistant at Davenport University. Prior to Davenport, Xiong spent time at Grace Christian University where she went from assistant coach to head coach over a four-year span. She helped lead the Tigers to an NCCAA MidEast Regional Championship, an NCCAA Tournament Semifinal appearance, and three NCCAA Tournament Quarterfinal appearances.
In other aspects of her coaching, Xiong has been recognized for her leadership, as she was selected to attend the US Marine Corps Leadership Convention in Quantico, Virginia back in 2020. She also is an active member of the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) and Asian Coaches Association (ACA).
Xiong earned her Bachelor's in Supply Chain Management from Grand Valley State University back in 2016, and on top of coaching she works full-time at Gordon Food Service as an Inbounds Traffic Analyst.
Outside of her work, Xiong enjoys her time with her husband of 10 years, Daniel Vang, as the reside together in Middleville, Michigan.
