Chris Schaffer will be entering his fifth season as the University's Assistant Volleyball Coach. Prior to being hired at Cornerstone University, Chris spent last season as an assistant coach at Division 2 Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, TX. He also spent four seasons as the Assistant Volleyball Coach at Christ Academy High School in Wichita Falls, TX where he helped the Lady Warriors to a (38-8) showing and a State Championship in 2018.
He was also key in starting their beach program where he was the head coach for two seasons from 2017-2018 helping produce a D1 Beach Volleyball Player from the school. Chris was a head coach at Zone In Volleyball Academy in Wichita Falls, TX. He was named Coach of the year twice in 2015 and 2018. In 2018 he led his 16's National team to a fifth place finish out of 224 teams at the Red Rock Rave National Qualifier in Las Vegas. His team qualified for the Tour of Texas and finished in the top #50 of NTR Region.
