Box Score DEARBORN, Mich. – The Cornerstone Volleyball team returned to their winning ways on Friday night as they picked up a 3-0 sweep on the road over UM-Dearborn. The Golden Eagles, who are now 15-6 on the season and 6-4 in league play, posted a .310 hitting percentage and were led by 11 kills from Megan Newhouse. CU will stay on the road for a 1 p.m. match on Saturday at Concordia.

Five different players finished with at least three kills led by Megan Newhouse who finished with 11 on the night. Cailie Schultz chipped in with nine while hitting at a .615 clip and Murphy Heyer had five for head coach Ryan Campbell.
In what was a lop-sided match between the Golden Eagles and Wolverines, it was the visitors who trailed only one time throughout the three sets as UMD held a 2-0 edge in the second set only to see CU come back and win 25-13. The Golden Eagles limited the Wolverines to a -.038 hitting percentage while posting three solo blocks and 11.0 total blocks.
Chelsea Lake finished as the team leader with 19 assists while the junior was also tops with eight digs. Murphy Heyer and Maria Ma each finished with a team and match high four service aces.
CU will face Concordia in Ann Arbor on Saturday at 1 p.m.
