Women's Tennis Falls to Judson 7-2

The Cornerstone women's tennis team travelled to Judson University today, and fell by the score of 7-2.  After missing the first 3 matches with a broken wrist, Heidi Boesl returned to action today, and won her first match at #3 Singles by the score of 6-1, 6-2.  At #4 Singles, Ashley Greene won 6-1, 6-1 to wrap up the winning for Cornerstone.

Up next for Cornerstone is the very important Night of Nets match against Bethel College on Friday September 26 at 2:30 pm at Northpointe Christian High School.  Night of Nets is becoming a CU tradition and is sweeping to schools all over the country to raise funds to stamp out malaria.  Malaria kills over 700,000 children under the age of 5 every year, but is entirely preventable simply through the use of inexpensive mosquito nets.  Please join us for this match and help support this wonderful cause.  For more information, please visit cunightofnets.com.
