GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The last two weeks saw the men's soccer team post a 3-1-0 record in all matches played at home and it was finished off with a 2-0 shutout of UM-Dearborn on Saturday night. Diego Bobadilla (SR/Holland, Mich.) picked up his second straight game winner as Kevin Nimmo (SO/Livonia, Mich.) joined him in the scoring to lift CU to 7-6-1 on the season and 5-1-1 in the WHAC. The Golden Eagles head to No. 2 Davenport on Wednesday.

Game Flow…
After posting a 1-0 win over Lawrence Tech on Wednesday, the Golden Eagles finished off a perfect week as they picked up a 2-0 victory over UM-Dearborn. Nick Hopkins (JR/Ada, Mich.) finished with his second straight shutout as the junior goalkeeper had three saves on the night.

Diego Bobadilla got the scoring started about 13 minutes into the match when the senior took a loose ball in the mid-field and dribbled in and launched it by the Dearborn keeper. It marked the second straight match in which Bobadilla scored the team's first goal.

Then with under 10 minutes to play, Bobadilla fed a wide open Kevin Nimmo just outside the UMD box and hit a hard ball that was initially stopped by the Wolverines' keeper but the momentum carried it over the line for the second goal of the match.
