Game Flow
Ben Lanning got his big night started in nice fashion as the senior opened the scoring for CU with a dunk in opening minute but the Saints kept pace with CU early as they trailed 11-10 after 5:07 of play. An 8-2 run over the next four minutes opened a seven point lead and Cornerstone continued their run into the half as they would lead 43-30 at the break.
Siena Heights cut the margin to just 10 with 15:36 remaining but the Golden Eagles upped it to 18 on back to back buckets from Sam Vander Sluis (FR/Holland, Mich.) and they would never look back eventually posting the 15-point win.
