AVE MARIA, Fla. – With two matches remaining on their spring break schedule, both against Florida-based schools, the men's tennis team got it started with a solid win against Ave Maria. CU posted a 6-3 victory over the Gyrenes to improve to 13-0 on the season. CU will conclude their stay in Florida on Thursday at Webber International.

Doubles Highlights: Cornerstone took control of the match by winning two of the three doubles matches with victories coming at No. 2 behind the play of Sam Ottosen (FR/Cairns, AUS) and Austin Hendrick (FR/Grand Rapids, Mich.) (8-3) and at No. 3 behind Santiago Mackrey (SO/Balcarce, ARG) and Chris Selva (SR/Romeo, Mich.) (8-3).

Singles Highlights: CU then dominated the singles portion as they won four of the six matches to take the overall victory 6-3. The Golden Eagles got straight set victories out of Mackrey, Hendrick and Selva and a 3-set win from Ottosen. 

What's Next? The Golden Eagles will conclude their spring break trip on Thursday in a dual match against Webber International.
