LIMA, Ohio. – In their final road matches of the season, the Cornerstone women's tennis team posted a pair of losses to Grace College (Ind.) and No. 15 Northwestern Ohio. CU fell 8-1 to Grace on Friday night before being downed 9-0 to the host Racers on Saturday. CU will play host to Spring Arbor in the regular season finale on Tuesday.
Cornerstone hit the road for a pair of matches against Grace College and Northwestern Ohio over the weekend but were unable to post a win as Grace won 8-1 and UNOH defeated CU 9-0.
The match against UNOH was the WHAC finale for Cornerstone as they finish the season at 3-3 and in fourth place in the standings. CU will meet Indiana Tech in the first round of the conference tournament next weekend. Details will follow when the official bracket is released.
